Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver shipping containers to all 9 provinces in South Africa: Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, and Northern Cape. We also offer cross-border delivery to neighboring countries by special arrangement.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times from our Durban yard, counted from payment confirmation. Your quote confirms the date for your address.

• KwaZulu-Natal (Durban, Pietermaritzburg): 1-3 business days
• Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga: 2-4 business days
• Gauteng, North West, Limpopo: 3-5 business days
• Western Cape, Northern Cape: 5-7 business days

Custom modification orders require additional lead time, typically 2-4 weeks depending on complexity.

3. Delivery Costs

Delivery is priced for each order based on the distance from our Durban yard, the container size and how easy your site is to reach. We confirm the delivery cost in writing before you pay, and it is shown on your order.

4. Site Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery site meets the following requirements:

• Firm, level ground capable of supporting the container weight
• Minimum access width of 3.5 meters for the delivery truck
• Minimum overhead clearance of 4.5 meters
• No low bridges, narrow gates, or tight turns on the access route
• Ground that is not waterlogged or excessively soft
• Adequate space for the truck to maneuver and offload

If our delivery team arrives and finds the site unsuitable, a redelivery fee will apply.

5. Offloading Methods

We use the following offloading methods depending on site conditions:

• Hiab Crane Truck: Our standard delivery method. The container is lifted off the truck and placed on the ground. Requires adequate side access.
• Side-Loader: For sites with limited overhead clearance. The container slides off the side of the trailer.
• Flatbed with Forklift: Available for sites with forklift access. Customer must provide certified forklift operator.

6. Delivery Scheduling

Once your order is confirmed and payment received, our logistics team will contact you to schedule a delivery date. We offer delivery Monday through Saturday. Same-day and Sunday delivery may be available by special arrangement at additional cost.

7. Delivery Inspection

The customer or an authorized representative must be present at the time of delivery to inspect the container and sign the delivery note. Any visible damage or defects must be noted on the delivery documentation at the time of delivery.

8. Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, site inaccessibility, or failure to meet site requirements, a redelivery fee will be charged. The redelivery fee is equal to the original delivery cost. We require at least 24 hours notice for delivery rescheduling.

9. Tracking Your Delivery

For long-distance deliveries, our logistics team will provide updates via phone or email. You can also contact our office at 068 683 8986 for delivery status updates.

10. International Shipping

International shipping to neighboring countries (Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini) is available by special arrangement. Please contact us for a custom international shipping quote.
